Catholic education at IHC Elementary Campus offers students a quality education inspired by teachers who promote and foster high academic standards infused with the teaching of Jesus Christ and Christian values. Your child will develop in mind, body, spirit and soul at IHC Elementary School.
Our elementary building houses students in grades K - 5. Classrooms are equipped with Smart Board technology, document cameras and each classroom has a mobile laptop lab enhancing the integration of technology and interactive, hands-on learning.

An outstanding chorus program is offered to students in grades 4 and 5.
Instrumental lessons are available to students in grade 5, with those students participating in an elementary band.
IHC Jr./Sr. High School
IHC Senior High School offers a rigorous and challenging academic program,
integrated fully with the Catholic school’s spiritual life. Our student body is diverse, including international students and students from military families at Fort Drum.
High school students at IHC are encouraged to develop their unique gifts and talents for their personal growth and for the service of others.

High School Program
For high school graduation, New York State grants 2 levels of diplomas:

Regents Diploma
-
Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation
Regents Examinations are New York State standardized examinations in core high school subjects required for a Regents Diploma. The Regents system was established by the New York legislature in 1864.
Passing the following Regents exams with a score of 65 or better is required for a Regents Diploma:

Comprehensive English

Mathematics (Any one)

Global History
-
US History
-
Science (Any one)
In addition to passing the above Regents exams, to earn a Regents diploma at IHC a student must earn 22 unit credits:

English – 4 units of credit

Social studies – 4 units of credit

Religion – 4 units of credit

Mathematics – 3 units of credit

Science – 3 units of credit
-
The Arts – 1 unit of credit

Health – ½ unit of credit

Languages other than English – 1 unit of credit

Physical Education – 2 units of credit
Required Regents Exams for Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation
Passing the following Regents exams with a score of 65 or better is required for a Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation:

Science (one physical and one life science)
In addition to passing the above Regents exams, to earn a Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation at IHC, a student must also earn 2 additional units of credit in a language other than English and pass the comprehensive Regents exam in the chosen language.
“With Honors” Designation
The “with honors” designation is added to either the Regents Diploma option for students with an average score of 90 or more on all required Regents exams.
